Our event has a strict no-refund policy. Unfortunately, we are unable to process any refund requests.
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we empathize with any challenges you may be facing. However, we have committed resources and made preparations based on confirmed attendance, making it challenging for us to accommodate refund requests.

Note: Any active military unable to attend due to military duty may receive a full refund upon providing official documentation.

You didn’t think we would exclude the kiddies did you? 
We have the Bacon Bitz Dash just for our younger bacon aficionados. 
All kids get a finisher shirt, custom medal, and, of course … free bacon

Absolutely not. We have a number of people who show up just to walk the course, or they have a stroller or, in some venues, a well-behaved dog. You go at your own pace and enjoy the event.

The 5k race is timed and awards are given based on age groups, overall placement, and master’s category.  You could walk away with the coveted  “Golden Pig”.
The kids “Bacon Dash” is not timed.

BACON NUTRITIONAL/ALLERGENS INFORMATION
While our bacon is certified gluten-free, cross-contamination is possible. Customers with severe gluten sensitivities or celiac disease should be cautious. Reading product labels is recommended for allergen safety.

Yes, we’re totally fine with you completing the event with a stroller; we are also good with people walking the event and, (venue-dependent) even well-behaved dogs are allowed.
One request: if you could hang back from the front of the corral, that would be appreciated as we have a lot of people running for personal best times.

Absolutely.  We give 25% off any and all military/veterans and first responders.
Just email us (Kevin@AmericanBaconRace.com) with your information and proof (ID card or similar) and we will set you up with a custom code.

 

We offer awards for overall winners, masters, and different age groups. There is a 5-year spread between age groups. (see breakdown).
 
The first-place winner in each category will also receive the coveted Golden Pig.
